The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) inaugurated the photo exhibition "Taiwan Sublime" and presentation of Chinese Folk Dances, which carried out to celebrate the Chinese New Year on 20 February this year at 17:00 pm in the Capuchin Convent (2 nd Street and 2nd Avenue East north corner, Antigua Guatemala). The exhibit is open to the general public Feb. 20 (from 17:00 hrs.) At March 20, 2010.

The photo exhibition consists of four series of photographs taken by photographers Taiwanese Chi Po-lin, Liu Chen-hsiang, Huang Ting-sheng and Chen Chih-hsiung, who for years have crossed Taiwan and its smaller sister islands with the aim of creating a record of natural and human wonders.
Photographic series are: "In Increase - A Natural Vision Enhancement of Taiwan", which portrays the grandeur of the mountains of Taiwan coasts and waterways, while transmitting the thrilling joy of experiencing the natural beauty of the island from the perspective of a bird. "In the Passion - Fiesta Celestial for the Performing Arts", here gives an idea of \u200b\u200bthe diversity and vitality of modern dance and traditional drama in Taiwan. "In Forms of Folklore - By combining the mundane and the heavenly" in it are scenes of daily life which directly or indirectly, are rooted in the spiritual dimension and finally, "In Interfaces - Rhythms of Nature and Humanity" which highlights the continuing natural stages of human drama.
Display is sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the National Council for the Protection of Antigua Guatemala. The entrance to the Convent hours are Monday through Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00.
