Embedit.in is a service based on Flash to embed various types of files on a website. The documents that we show could cover in three different categories: documents, images and text. Besides extensions Common, also supports proprietary formats a little more esoteric, like Photoshop or Illustrator used for professional editing layers manipulation and other advanced features.
formats that we can stay in the service are:
- Documents: Word (DOC / DOCX), Excel (XLS / xlsx), PowerPoint (PPT / pptx), WPD, ODT, ODP, ODS, PDF.
- Images: GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, PSD.
- Vector Graphics API, EPS, PS.
- Text: TXT, RTF, CSV.
- Code: HTML, SQL, JS.
- Web: web pages or URL others.
Embedit.in allows us to upload the file you want to share in its platform, from where we were given a code XHTML automatically, which should be implemented in our web site. This code creates a file in flash format, which allows visitors to access your file.
The service is free, requires identification through third parties such as: Google, Yahoo , Twitter, OpenID .
